Invoked by a vote of 54-43: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1133 Camille L. Velez-Rive to be United States District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico.

By a vote of 52-45 the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #1147 Anne M. Nardacci to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York.

By a vote of 55-42: The Senate Confirmed Exec. Cal. #1133 Camille L. Velez-Rive to be US District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico.

By a vote of 52-44: the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #1147 Anne M. Nardacci to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York.

By a vote of 92-3, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #843, Robert Phillip Storch to be Inspector General, Department of Defense.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

At 11:30am, on Thursday, December 1st, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1148 Jerry W. Blackwell to be United States District Judge for the District of Minnesota.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1129 Doris L. Pryor to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

At 7:35pm, the Senate began the Rule 14 process to place H.J. Res. 100 (To provide for a resolution with respect to the unresolved disputes between certain railroads and so forth) on the Calendar, and then adjourned until 7:36pm this evening.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, April 30th. Following Leader Remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on S.Res.690, an executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (49) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.  If cloture is invoked on S.Res.690, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on adoption of the resolution at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Democratic Leader, no earlier than Friday, May 1st.

At approximately 1:45pm, a roll call vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res 184, A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (Schiff) is expected.
