The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, June 9, 2022.  Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Calendar #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act.

At 1:45pm the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #728 Samuel R. Bagenstos, of Michigan, to be General Counsel of the Department of Health and Human Services, vice Robert Charrow.

Additional roll call votes are possible.

Pending amendments to H.R.3967:

At 11:45am the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #856 Robert Steven Huie, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California, vice Michael M. Anello, retired.

By a vote of 51-46 the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #856 Robert Steven Huie to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California.

By a vote of 49-43: the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #728 Samuel R. Bagenstos, of Michigan, to be General Counsel of the Department of Health and Human Services, vice Robert Charrow.

The Senate will convene at 3:00pm on Monday, June 13, 2022.

At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on Tester amendment #5051 (Substitute) to H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021.

On Thursday, June 9, 2022, Leader Schumer filed cloture on the following:

  1. Tester amendment #5051 (Substitute) to H.R. 3967.
  2. The underlying bill, Cal. #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021.

Also on Thursday, June 9, the Senate confirmed the following nominations by voice vote:

  1. Executive Calendar #849 Dana Katherine Bilyeu to be a Member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board for a term expiring October 11, 2023. (Reappointment)
  2. Executive Calendar #850 Leona M. Bridges to be a Member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board for a term expiring October 11, 2023.
  3. Executive Calendar #851 Stacie Olivares to be a Member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board for a term expiring September 25, 2024.
  4. Executive Calendar #853 Michael F. Gerber to be a Member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board for a term expiring September 25, 2022.
  5. Executive Calendar #854 Michael F. Gerber to be a Member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board for a term expiring September 25, 2026. (Reappointment).
