At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Williams nomination.

At 2:30pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Confirmation of the nomination of Gregory Brian Williams to be United States District Judge for the District of Delaware.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Natasha C. Merle to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Leader Schumer filed cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendment, to the Senate amendment, to H.R.4346, the legislative vehicle for the CHIPS Act, with further amendment (Senate Amendment 5135).

At 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Reuben E. Brigety II to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of South Africa.
