The Senate recessed from 12:30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.
By a vote of 55-43, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Maria del R. Antongiorgi-Jordan to be United States District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico.
By a vote of 62-36, the Senate passed S.J.Res.63, a joint resolution relating to a national emergency declared by the President on March 13, 2020.
The Senate will convene at 12:00pm on Wednesday, April 29th. Following Leader Remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination of Robert Cekada to be Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
