The Senate convened at 11:00am.

By a vote of 54-45, the nomination of Gina R. Mendez-Miro, of Puerto Rico, to be United States District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico is confirmed.

By a vote of 58-41, the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #7 Lindsay C. Jenkins, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, vice John Z. Lee, elevated.

By a vote of 59-40, the Senate voted to confirm Executive Calendar #7 Lindsay C. Jenkins, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, vice John Z. Lee, elevated.

By a vote of 54-45, the Senate voted on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #12 Matthew L. Garcia to be United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico.

Invoked, 54-45: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #12 Matthew L. Garcia to be United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico.

By unanimous consent, the Senate agreed to S. Res. 60, Honoring the victims of the senseless attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018.

Nomination confirmed, 53-46: Executive Calendar #12 Matthew L. Garcia to be United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico.

Cloture invoked, 53-44: Executive Calendar #15, Adrienne C. Nelson, of Oregon, to be United States District Judge for the District of Oregon.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Three votes at 4:30pm:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #10, Ana C. Reyes to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia (if cloture invoked).
  2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #11, Daniel J. Calabretta to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of California (if cloture is invoked).
  3. Motion to Invoke Cloture on Executive Calendar #1, Lester Martinez-Lopez to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.
