The Senate convened at 10:00am.

By a vote of 52-41, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #16 Jamar K. Walker, of Virginia, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, vice Raymond A. Jackson, retired.

By a vote of 51-43, the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #17 Jamal N. Whitehead, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington, vice Richard A. Jones, retiring.

By a vote of 51-43, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Jamal N. Whitehead to be US District Judge for the Western District of Washington.

Invoked by a vote of 48-47: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #14 Araceli Martinez-Olguin to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.

By a vote of 49-48, with Vice President Harris casting the tie breaking vote, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #14 Araceli Martinez-Olguin to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.

By a vote of 49-48, with Vice President Harris casting the tie breaking vote, the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #13 Margaret R. Guzman to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #13 Margaret R. Guzman to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #24 Colleen R. Lawless to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois.

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #35 Jonathan James Canada Grey to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
