At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.350 (Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022).
  2. Passage of J.Res.46 (A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security relating to “Procedures for Credible Fear Screening and Consideration of Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and CAT Protection Claims by Asylum Officers”).

At 1:45pm, the Senate will proceed to one roll call vote:

  1. Confirmation of the nomination of Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, to be Director General of the Foreign Service.

Not invoked by a vote of 47-47: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #371, H.R.350, Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022.

  • Leader Schumer entered a motion to reconsider the failed cloture vote on the motion to proceed to Cal. #371, H.R.350, Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022.
