Following Leader remarks, the Senate resumed consideration of Executive Calendar #975, Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2018, post-cloture.

11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Barr nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #976, Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.

If cloture is invoked, at 2:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Barr nomination (Executive Calendar #976) and on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #676 Owen Edward Herrnstadt, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

At 11:45am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination of Kate Elizabeth Heinzelman to be General Counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency.

At 1:45pm, the Senate will vote on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on the nomination of Julianna Michelle Childs to be United States Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, April 30th. Following Leader Remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on S.Res.690, an executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (49) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.  If cloture is invoked on S.Res.690, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on adoption of the resolution at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Democratic Leader, no earlier than Friday, May 1st.

At approximately 1:45pm, a roll call vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res 184, A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (Schiff) is expected.
