The Senate convened for the Second Session of the 117th Congress at 12:00 Noon.
Cloture was filed on the nomination of Anne Witkowsky to be an Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stabilization Operations. The vote on the Sanchez nomination will now occur on Tuesday at 12:00 noon, after which the Senate will recess to accommodate the Tuesday luncheons.

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Charles Kushner, of New York, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the French Republic, and to serve concurrently and without additional compensation as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Principality of Monaco.
