The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #121 Michael Farbiarz to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #122 Robert Kirsch to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Following the cloture vote on the Kirsch nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:30pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #121 Michael Farbiarz to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey (if cloture is invoked).

At 5:00pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #122 Robert Kirsch to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #123 Orelia Eleta Merchantto be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
