The Senate convened at 3:00pm.

By a vote of 45-39, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #1301 Martin J. Gruenberg to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for a term of six years. (Reappointment).

The Senate confirmed by voice vote the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #1297 Kimberly Ann McClain to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
  2. Executive Calendar #1298 Travis Hill to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for a term of 6 years.
  3. Executive Calendar #1299 Travis Hill to be Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
  4. Executive Calendar #1300 Jonathan McKernan to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for the remainder of the term expiring May 31, 2024.
  5. Executive Calendar #1302 Martin J. Gruenberg to be Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for a term of five years.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

Roll call votes are possible during Tuesday’s session, but are not scheduled.

Floor Schedule

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan Gould to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Whitney D. Hermandorfer to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit.

If cloture is invoked on the Hermandorfer nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination at a time to be determined on Monday July 14th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 1:45pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Gould nomination.
