Not invoked, 54-44: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #168, H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026, upon reconsideration.

Leader Schumer filed cloture on the motion to proceed to S.2882, Democrat Continuing Resolution.

Leader Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026.

The Senate will convene at 3:00pm on Monday, October 6th, 2025.

Leader Thune filed cloture on the en bloc nominations provided for under the provisions of S.Res.412.

At 5:30pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to up to three roll call votes:

  3. James D. Maxwell II, of Mississippi, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Mississippi.

Leader Thune sent an Executive Resolution (S. Res. 532 – a resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar) to the desk, asked for its immediate consideration and then objected to his own request. The Executive Resolution will lie over one day.
