Confirmed, 54-42: Executive Calendar #61, Daniel I. Werfel to be Commissioner of Internal Revenue for the term expiring November 12, 2027.

Confirmed, 51-43: Executive Calendar #39 James Edward Simmons, Jr. to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California.

Confirmed, 51-42: Executive Calendar #6 Maria Araujo Kahn to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit.

The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am Friday, March 10, 2023.

At 9:30am, March 10th, the Senate will convene for a Pro Forma session with no official business conducted. 

When the Senate adjourns Friday, March 10^th, they will reconvene Tuesday, March 14^th at 3:00 pm.  Following Leaders’ remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #62 Brent Neiman, of Illinois, to be a Deputy Under Secretary of the Treasury, vice Ramin Toloui.

At 5:30 the Senate will vote on the Neiman nomination.
