Confirmed, 61-35: Daniel Zimmerman to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.

Cloture Invoked, 56-42: Motion to Invoke Cloture on the nomination of Paul Dabbar to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce.

The Senate will convene at 3:30pm on Wednesday, June 25th.

4:15pm – Two votes:

  • Confirmation of the nomination of Paul Dabbar to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce.
  • Motion to Invoke Cloture on the nomination of Kenneth Kies to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.

If cloture is invoked on the Kies nomination, the confirmation vote will occur at time to be determined on Thursday, June 26th.

The Senate recessed at 7:08pm.
