The Senate convened for the Second Session of the 117th Congress at 12:00 Noon.
Cloture was filed on the nomination of Anne Witkowsky to be an Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stabilization Operations. The vote on the Sanchez nomination will now occur on Tuesday at 12:00 noon, after which the Senate will recess to accommodate the Tuesday luncheons.
At 12:17 PM, the Senate adjourned.
The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 3. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R. 6644, the Housing for the 21st Century Act, post-cloture.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.
Roll call votes are possible during Tuesday’s session of the Senate.
