Leader Thune filed cloture on the nomination of Jennifer Lee Mascott to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit.

Not invoked, 45-50: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #167, S.2882, Democrat Continuing Resolution.

Not invoked, 52-42: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #168, H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026.

Invoked, 50-45: Motion to invoke cloture on the en bloc nominations provided for under the provisions of S.Res.412.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and will resume consideration of the en bloc nominations provided for under the provisions of S.Res.412, post-cloture.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.
