At 11:30am the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on H.R. 7691, Ukraine Supplemental Aid Package.

If cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to an immediate vote on passage of H.R. 7691

At 1:45pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed on Calendar #344, S.4008, Small Business COVID Relief Act of 2022.

If cloture is not invoked the Senate will vote on cloture of Executive Calendar #855 Stephanie Dawkins Davis, of Michigan, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, vice Helene N. White, retiring.

The Senate completed the Rule 14 process to place the following bills on the Legislative Calendar of Business:

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, April 30th. Following Leader Remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on S.Res.690, an executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (49) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.  If cloture is invoked on S.Res.690, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on adoption of the resolution at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Democratic Leader, no earlier than Friday, May 1st.

At approximately 1:45pm, a roll call vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res 184, A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (Schiff) is expected.
