Invoked, 54-45: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #425 Michael G. Waltz to be Representative of the United States of America to the Sessions of the General Assembly of the United Nations during his tenure of service as Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations.

Minority Leader Schumer filed cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal #167 S.2882, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions and Other Matters Act, 2026.

Majority Leader Thune filed cloture on the following: the motion to proceed to Cal. #168 H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026; on Hung Cao to be Under Secretary of the United States Navy; and on S. Res. 412, An executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.

The Senate adjourned at 9:38pm.

The Senate will recess from 12:45pm to 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.
