The Senate stands in recess until Monday, April 13, 2026, other than for pro forma sessions only, with no business conducted, on the following dates and times:

- Thursday, April 9th at 12:00pm
When the Senate next convenes at 3:00pm on Monday, April 13th, following Leader remarks, it will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.
Cloture was filed on the following nominations:
- The nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
- The nomination of Christopher R. Wolfe to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
