The Senate convened at 3:00pm.

Confirmed, 60-31: Executive Calendar #1129, Doris L. Pryor to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

The Senate will convene at 10am on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will proceed to a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination Frances Kay Behm to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The Senate will recess from 12:30-2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:20pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kelley Brisbon Hodge to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

If cloture is invoked on the nominations, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes at 4:30pm:

  1. Confirmation of Frances Kay Behm to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
  2. Confirmation of Kelley Brisbon Hodge to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

  • Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Robert Law to be Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy, and Plans, Department of Homeland Security.

Following the Law vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.

At 2:15pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  • Confirmation of the nomination of Robert Law to be Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy, and Plans, Department of Homeland Security.

  • Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kyle Christopher Dudek to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.

If cloture is invoked, there would be up to 2 hours of debate, followed by a roll call vote on confirmation of the Dudek nomination.
