Cloture Invoked, 52-39: Executive Calendar #16, Jamar K. Walker to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The Senate will convene at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 28^th.

At 11:30am the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #16 Jamar K. Walker to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.
2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #17 Jamal N. Whitehead to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.

Following the cloture vote on the Whitehead nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15 pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:15pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #17 Jamal N. Whitehead to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.
2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #14 Araceli Martinez-Olguin to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.

At 4:30pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #14 Araceli Martinez-Olguin to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.
2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #13 Margaret R. Guzman to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.

On Monday, February 27, 2023, Leader Schumer filed cloture on the following nominations:

1. Colleen R. Lawless to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois.
2. Jonathan James Canada Grey to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
3. James Edward Simmons, Jr. to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California.
4. Gordon P. Gallagher to be United States District Judge for the District of Colorado.
