The Senate convened at 3:00pm and resumed consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #389, H.R.6833, the legislative vehicle for the Continuing Resolution. At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed.

Leader Schumer announced that Senator Manchin has requested and that he has agreed to move forward and pass the recently filed continuing resolution legislation without the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2022.
