Confirmed, 64-32: the Senate voted to confirm Executive Calendar #1283, Jeffery Paul Hopkins to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.

Invoked, 57-39: the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #1183 Tamika R. Montgomery-Reeves to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit.

Invoked, 63-31: The senate voted on a motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1146 Dana M. Douglas to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit.

The Senate confirmed by unanimous consent the following Coast Guard Nominations: Exec. Cal. #1285, Exec. Cal. #1286, Exec. Cal. #1287, and all other nominations on the Secretary’s Desk for the Coast Guard and Foreign Service.

The Senate confirmed by voice vote: Executive Calendar #1201 Shailen P. Bhatt to be Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan Gould to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Whitney D. Hermandorfer to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit.

If cloture is invoked on the Hermandorfer nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination at a time to be determined on Monday July 14th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 1:45pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Gould nomination.
