Cloture Invoked, 51-47: Executive Calendar #174 S. Kato Crews, of Colorado, to be United States District Judge for the District of Colorado, vice Raymond P. Moore, retiring.

Confirmed, 51-48: Executive Calendar #174 S. Kato Crews to be United States District Judge for the District of Colorado.

By a vote of 54-45, the Senate did not pass S.J. Res. 32, a resolution of disapproval of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to “Small Business Lending Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B)”

There will be no further votes today in the Senate.

The Senate adjourned at 5:22 p.m.

5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.

Cloture was filed on the following nominations:

  1. The nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
  2. The nomination of Christopher R. Wolfe to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
