Confirmed, 73-13: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #702 Adam B. Landy to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court for a term of fifteen years.

Leader Schumer filed cloture on the following: EC #710 Meredith A. Vacca to be US District Judge for the Western District of New York; EC #709 Joseph Francis Saporito, Jr. to be US District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania; EC #582 Dorothy Camille Shea to be Deputy Representative of the USA to the United Nations, with the rank and status of Ambassador and the Deputy Representative of the USA in the Security Council of the UN;  and to Cal. #349, H.R.7024, Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024.

By unanimous consent, the Senate passed S. 4610 – A bill to amend title 36, United States Code, to designate the bald eagle as the national bird.

By unanimous consent, the Senate passed S.3574 – National Fossil Act.
