Cloture Invoked, 72-26: John Ratcliffe to be Director of the CIA.

At approximately 1:50pm, the Senate will vote on:

1. Confirmation of Ratcliffe.

2. Motion to invoke cloture on Peter Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense.

Confirmed, 74-25: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #1 John Ratcliffe to be Director of the CIA.

Invoked, 51-49: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #3 Peter Hegseth, of Tennessee, to be Secretary of Defense.

The Senate adjourned at 7:15 PM.
