The Senate convened at 10:00am.

Leader Thune filed cloture on the following: Executive Calendar #728 Kevin Warsh to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of fourteen years from February 1, 2026 and Executive Calendar #727 Kevin Warsh to be Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.

Invoked, 51-46: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #5, S.Res.690, En Bloc Nominations.

By unanimous consent, the Senate passed S. Res. 708 with the Padilla Amendment that amends Rule 37 of the Standing Rules of the Senate prohibiting Senators from trading on prediction markets effective immediately.

Not agreed to, 47-50: Motion to discharge from Foreign Relations Committee, S.J.Res.184, Schiff War Powers Resolution (Iran).

By voice vote, the Senate passed S.4465, a bill to amend the FISA amendments act of 2008 to extend the authorities of Title 7 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.
