Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:

  1. Anthony J. Brindisi, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York, vice David N. Hurd, retiring.
  2. Elizabeth C. Coombe, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York, vice Glenn T. Suddaby, retired.
  3. Sarah Morgan Davenport, of New Mexico, to be United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico, vice William P. Johnson, retiring.
  4. Tiffany Rene Johnson, of Georgia, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia, vice Steve C. Jones, retiring.

Confirmed, 48-43: Anne Hwang to be District Judge for the Central District of California.

Confirmed, 47-45: Brian Edward Murphy to be District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.

The Senate will convene at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:15pm, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #601 Sparkle L. Sooknanan to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
  2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #779 Catherine Henry to be District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Floor Schedule

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan Gould to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Whitney D. Hermandorfer to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit.

If cloture is invoked on the Hermandorfer nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination at a time to be determined on Monday July 14th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 1:45pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Gould nomination.
